So tell me, is there anything better than fried eggs? Yes, fried eggs on a pizza!! It’s so simple but so delicious. The richness of the running egg yolks will make you pizza so creamy and you can spice them up with whatever you like! I used grated Gouda cheese, spring onions and chili flakes but like i said, you can choose what you like 😉
Start by firing up your outdoor oven to about 450°C (842°F) and make sure your dough balls are already at room temperature.
This pizza needs a bit of time management, because you want your pizza crispy but your eggs yolks still runny. So before you start make sure that you and all your toppings are ready to rumble.
Shape your pizza and sprinkle it with some grated cheese. Put it in the oven and bake it halfway through. This is an important step. If you put your eggs immediately on the pizza then they will overcook and that’s not what you want.
Take out your pizza. Crack the eggs, add the spring onions, chili flakes, some parmesan cheese, a pinch of salt and pepper and put your pizza back in the oven. At this point make sure your fire is not too high, cause this will cook the eggs way too fast.
Keep a close eye on your pizza and the eggs. Turn it several times, to cook all the sides evenly. If the egg white is solidified your pizza is ready! Enjoy!!
